SLA awards tenders for Dempsey Road properties to Power Moves and Florte Design
Curio Home Accents sent the best price quote of $40,000 pm. Other bidders consist of Lotusonwater Feng Shui ($21,700 pm), Maywell Lifestyles ($13,244 pm), V-Zug Singapore ($12,500 pm), Elliott’s Antiques ($12,000 pm), Estudio Technologies ($10,800 pm) and Petizen ($5,000 pm).
The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have recently granted two different tenders for properties along Dempsey Road. Both tenders come with a first five-year rent, with the option to prolong for a second term of four years.
Power Moves succeeded the tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-05 and # 01-07) and 13A Dempsey Street. The estates, that are accepted for health and fitness purpose, occupy a land area of 9,657 sq ft and have a merged projected gross floor area (GFA) of 8,783 sq ft.
Additionally, Florte Design means to work with local area artists, performers and close-by businesses to give cross-promotional events and foster town interaction.
The units at 13 Dempsey Road utilize a projected land area of 5,423 sq ft and have a GFA of around 4,905 sq ft.
The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) had launched both tenders in between March and April, seeking to even more boost Dempsey’s credibility as a distinct lifestyle and wellness surround.

Florte Design aims to open a marketplace for retail flower and life-style goods on the area with an all-day coffee shop services floral-infused drinks. The property will even feature a physical fitness shop and a functional event space-cum-photo studio with floral arrangements.
Power Moves’ bid of $41,200 pm works with a 8.4% costs over the following highest proposal of $38,000 pm that was submitted by Lotusonwater Feng Shui. Different bidders involve Theta Collective ($22,000 pm), The Smok Hous ($13,777 pm) and Center Solutions ($7,007 pm).
Power Moves’ proposal includes facilities like a pilates center, beauty center, a coffee shop, and areas providing health guidance and some other wellness-based services. The studio will also provide neighborhood campaigns like outdoor fitness and meditation classes, walkathons and concept pop-up events to lure audiences.
Florte Design’s proposal of $17,904 pm represented the third highest cost proposal received for the real estate. However, it had the greatest mixed score based on both price (which carried a 40% weightage) and quality (60% weightage).
SLA awarded a separate tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-01, # 01-02 and # 01-06) to Florte Design. The firm runs native floral studio The Florté. It defeated 7 various other tender bids for the property, which is approved for creative lifestyle applications.
